Gerald M. Levy and other members of the consulting team are experienced in strategic analysis and in the
execution of transactions that represent the tangible results of such work. The firm is also prepared to evaluate individual property problems and formulate and execute solutions. Based on the challenge of the problem posed by the client we will recommend a scope of work and follow-up activities that meets the needs of the client but the client alone has final say on the actual scope of our work.
Mr. Levy was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Real Estate and
Corporate Services Division of Chemical Bank and a Managing Director in Real Estate
Finance at Chase Manhattan Bank. He has been an Adjunct Professor and Clinical
Associate Professor at the Real Estate Institute of New York University. Mr. Levy has
extensive experience in real estate valuation, consulting, finance, workouts, corporate
real estate, asset management and transactional representation. He is co-author of
Corporate Real Estate Handbook (McGraw Hill) and Institutional Real Estate Strategies (Urban Land Institute). Mr. Levy is a member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), the Counselors of Real Estate (CRE), and a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered
Surveyors (FRICS), and is a licensed real estate broker.

square feet of retail space.
Strategic Corporate Real Estate Plan & Execution
Strategic Corporate Real Estate Plan by function and by division for Chemical Banking
Corporation leading to extensive negotiations for major alternative Manhattan
headquarters acquisition and/or development proposals; and local, national and
international transactions for all corporate sectors. This initiative established centralized
real estate capital resource allocation process.
Rockefeller Center Leased Fee
Land Valuation Research and Analysis of Rockefeller Center leased fee owned by Columbia University at the time of this assignment.
Continental Illinois Bank & Trust Company
Leader of an Evaluation Team which reviewed all the corporate real estate
operations and assets in the portfolio of Continental Illinois Bank & Trust Company.
Texas Commerce Bancshares
Leader of an Evaluation Team which reviewed all the corporate real estate
operations and assets in the portfolio of Texas Commerce BancShares.
Sterling Homex
Forensic Advisory Assignment concerning the Sterling Homex Company a modular
design, manufacturing and marketing firm which produced apartment, hotel, dormitory,
nursing home and public housing modules at its headquarters and plant in Avon, New
York. The identified issues generated extensive news coverage in major newspapers
and magazines across the United States and subsequent successful litigation.
The “Clay Pits”
A land utilization and marketability study of a large site at the intersection of the New Jersey Turnpike, Route #9, and the Garden State Parkway for proposed regional shopping center and other commercial uses in Woodbridge, New Jersey.
Greater Hartford Transit District
Team analyzed economic impact of building the proposed Griffin Line light railway between downtown Hartford and Bradley Airport.
Union Station
Team prepared an adaptive reuse study of Union Station in Hartford, Connecticut.
City of Albany, New York
A development strategy was devised for the Albany Waterfront as a component of the greater objective of creating a regional destination for downtown Albany.
Berkshire Eagle
Created a marketing and business plan for an 80 year old 240,000 square foot Mill; sale of investment tax credits.
